Beetroot dal vada

Ingredients:

½ cup Red gram
½ cup Bengal gram
½ cup lentils (masur dal)
2 beet roots, finely chopped
3 tsp ginger garlic’s, chopped
2 cinnamon stick
2 cardamoms
4 cloves
1 cup onions chopped
½ cup coriander leaves
3 green chilies
¼ tsp turmeric powder
3 cups oil for deep fry.

Direction:

Soak the 3 dals for 4 hrs. In a mixer add cloves, green chilies, cinnamon, cardamoms, ginger garlic pieces and all soaked dals. Grind into fine paste. In that paste add onions, curry leaves, coriander leaves, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, salt, and chopped beet root. Heats the pan with oil, and allow frying, the vadas. Now decorate with coriander leaves and onions.
