Beerakaya (Ridge gourd) fry


Beerakaya (Ridge gourd) fry:

Ingredients:

Beerakaya (Ridge gourd) pieces-3 cups
Onions-1 cup
Green chillies-4
Turmeric powder-pinch
Curry leaves
Oil-3sp
Cumin powder-1/4 sp
Seseme seeds-2sp
Red chillies-2
Cumin seeds-1/4sp
Mustard seeds-1/4sp

Direction:

Heat pan with 3 sp oil and add mustard seeds, onions chopped, green chillies, curry leaves, and fry well for 2 minutes. Now add ridge gourd pieces. Add salt and turmeric and cumin powder. Cover it and leave for 5 minutes. In another pan fry seseme seeds, red chillies and cumin seeds. Now grind into fine powder. And add in the curry. Serve hot with chapatti or rice.
