Tomato Rasam



Ingredients:
1/2 cup Toor dal(Boiled)
6 Tomatoes paste
3 lady fingers
1/2 cup Tamarind pulp
1 cup coriander leaves
1 Drum stick
3 Green chilies
1/2sp Turmeric powder
Salt to taste
1 sp Sugar

For seasoning:

1/2sp Mustard seeds
1/2sp cumin seeds
1/2sp Fenugreek seeds
5 Garlic flakes
4 Red chilies
1sp curry leaves
1/4 cup Onions
3sp oil

Direction:

In a pan add toor dal, tomato paste, tamarind pulp, greenchilies, turmeric, lady fingers(Bhendi), drum sticks,and place on low heat, leave for 10 minutes till the vegetables to boil.add sugar and salt to taste.now the rasam was ready for seasoning,in a pan add oil followed by the mustard seeds,cumin seeds,red chilies,fenugreek seeds,garlic,onions and curryleaves.fry well,now add rasam,and boil for 5 minutes.turn off the stove,and add coriander leaves.now the tomato rasam is ready to serve.
