Dal tadka

Dal tadka:

Ingredients:



1/2cup-Moong dal
1/2cup-Toor dal
2 - Tomatoes
3 - Green chilies
Curry leaves
1/2sp-Jeera powder
Coriander leaves

For seasoning:

2-Ghee
1/4sp-Mustard seeds
1sp-Cumin(jeera)
2-Red chilies
Curry leaves
1/4 cup- Onions chopped
4-Garlic flakes

Procedure:
In a pressure cooker, boil (moong dal,toordal,tomato,turmeric,greenchilies) all these items. After boil add 2 cups of water and, add salt and,jeera powder, for seasoning, in a pan add ghee mustard seeds, jeera, garlic and fry well. after this add onions, red chilies, curry leaves and coriander leaves. Add above boiled dal also. Leave it for boil upto 2 minutes. Serve hot with rice or roti.
