Kanda pulusu:
Ingredients:
2cups-kanda(boiled)
2-tomatoes chopped
3-onions
tamarind pulp lemon size
pinch of turmeric powder
1 sp-redchilies powder
salt to taste
1 sp-jaggery
¼ cup-coriander leaves
For seasoning:
1 sp-Oil
½ sp-Mustard seeds
1 sp-Cuminseeds
¼ sp-Urad dal
½ sp-Chana dal
5-Crushed garlic flakes
1 sp-choppeo Onions
¼ sp-Fenugreek seeds
3Redchilies
Curry leaves
procedure:
boil kanda for 10 minutes and remove skin and cut into big pieces, and keep aside.
heat the pan with oil and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urua dal, chana dal, red chillis, curry leaves and crushed garlic flakes and frywell.
add choped onions, choped chillies and fry for 2 minutes with low flame.
add kanda pieces and tomato and mix well and leave it foe 5 minutes.
add turmaric powder, salt, and chiili powder.
soak tamarind and make one glass of tamarind juice and add it to curry.
add jaggery and cook with low flame for 10 minutes until sauce thickens and remove from fire.
add coriander leaves.and serve hot with rice.
