Ingrediants:
Urad dal -1 cup
Idli suji-3cups
Salt to taste
Ginger chopped-1sp
Greenchillies chopped-1 sp
Carrot chopped-5sp
Coriander leaves chopped-3sp
Cumin-1/2sp
Direction:
Wash and Soak urad dal and idli suji separately for 5 hrs. Drain all the water and grind urad dal into fine paste with adding salt. Keep aside. Drain all water in the idli suji. Now mix idli suji, salt, and urad dal paste. Transfer the mixture to a deep bowl whose size should be such that its more than half portion remains empty. And let it ferment for 8 hrs. After ferment add finely chopped ginger, green chillies, coriander leaves chopped, and cumin seeds. Now mix well the whole consistency. In the idli plates apply oil add lightly carrot chopped now add the consistency. And prepare idlies. Serve with coconut chutney.
